Financial Analyst

Hub International Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst for our Metairie office in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to financial planning and analysis for one of the largest insurance and employee benefits brokers in North America.

What This Role Involves

The Financial Analyst position is central to Hub International Insurance's decision-making process. You'll analyze complex financial data, prepare comprehensive reports, and deliver insights that drive strategic initiatives across our insurance and benefits operations in the Jefferson Parish region. Working in our Metairie headquarters, you'll support financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for a dynamic, growth-oriented organization.

What You'll Do

• Compile, analyze, and interpret financial data from multiple sources to identify trends and variances
• Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations based on findings
• Maintain financial models and spreadsheets used in departmental planning
• Collaborate with department heads and finance teams to gather requirements and clarify financial objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• 1–3 years of financial analysis, accounting, or related analytical experience
• Strong proficiency with Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools
• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
