Classroom Facilitator – Raiford, FL

Persevere, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting successful reentry and reducing recidivism, is hiring a full-time Classroom Facilitator in Raiford, Union County, Florida. In this role, you'll help create a supportive learning environment for participants in our comprehensive reentry programs designed for individuals with criminal justice involvement.

About the Role

As a Classroom Facilitator with Persevere, you'll serve as a teaching assistant and program support specialist, working directly with participants in our evidence-based reentry and transition initiatives. This full-time position in Raiford combines instructional support with participant engagement and mentorship to help individuals build the skills and confidence needed for successful reintegration into their communities.

What You'll Do

• Assist instructors in delivering classroom sessions and skill-building workshops for reentry program participants
• Provide individualized support to participants with learning materials, assignments, and program engagement
• Monitor and encourage participant progress, attendance, and participation in all program activities
• Help establish an inclusive, respectful classroom environment for individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Facilitate group discussions and activities focused on life skills, employment readiness, and successful reentry
• Document participant engagement and communicate progress updates to program staff and supervisors

• Experience working with diverse populations in education, social services, mentoring, or community support roles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and encourage others

• Reliability and flexibility to work full-time in a structured program setting
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact respectfully with individuals involved in the criminal justice system
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education, certifications, or relevant training valued
