About the Role

As an Assistant Teacher you will work alongside lead educators to create safe, engaging experiences that promote each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth. What You’ll Do

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age‑appropriate activities that encourage exploration and learning.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their safety and well‑being at all times.
• Help maintain a clean, organized classroom by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and learning materials according to licensing guidelines.
• Support children’s daily routines, including diaper changes, potty training, and hygiene practices, with patience and respect.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child’s progress, milestones, and any observations.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
• Follow all state and company policies regarding child‑to‑staff ratios, emergency procedures, and record‑keeping.

• Required: current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
