Field Safety Rep – Substations

Quanta Services is hiring a Field Safety Representative for substation operations in Valley Brook, Oklahoma County. In this full-time position, you'll protect our workforce and ensure regulatory compliance across electrical construction and transmission infrastructure projects throughout the Central Southwest.

About the Role

As a Field Safety Representative focused on substations, you're the safety leader on our job sites. Working directly with field teams, you'll implement and enforce safety protocols, identify hazards before they become incidents, and maintain compliance with OSHA standards and company policies. Your vigilance ensures our crews stay protected while we build the energy infrastructure that powers the region.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily safety inspections and audits at substation construction and electrical work sites
• Identify workplace hazards and develop corrective action plans
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards with field personnel
• Investigate safety incidents and near-misses; document findings and corrective actions
• Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for construction crews
• Verify proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment
• Coordinate safety protocols with project management and site supervisors
• Maintain detailed safety records and compliance documentation

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• OSHA 30-hour certification, CSP, or equivalent safety qualification (or ability to obtain)
• Hands-on experience in electrical, construction, or utility field work
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and substation operations
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety culture
