About the Role
As a Certified Home Health Aid with TARLANI Healthcare, you'll be the frontline caregiver who enables patients to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. You'll work one-on-one with patients across our service territory, following individualized care plans and reporting directly to nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
What You'll Do
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Support mobility and transferring, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to supervising nurses
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary guidelines
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean patient environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being
- Follow established care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
What We're Looking For
- Current Certified Home Health Aid certification or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Compassion for patient-centered care and commitment to dignity and privacy
- Reliability and professional demeanor in a home-based setting
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to individual patient needs
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
