Core-Mark, a leading distributor serving the convenience retail industry, is hiring a CDL A Delivery Route Driver to join our distribution team in La Porte, LaPorte County. This is a full-time position where you'll play a critical role in our food distribution operations across the region.

About the Role

As a CDL A Delivery Route Driver, you'll operate a commercial vehicle to transport products to retail locations along an assigned route. You'll be responsible for safe, on-time deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service and accurate record-keeping throughout your workday.

What You'll Do

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods along established delivery routes
• Safely load, transport, and unload products at designated retail locations
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and address their needs responsibly
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Record delivery information accurately and manage required paperwork
• Comply with all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Optimize route efficiency while meeting delivery schedules and performance targets

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
• Clean driving record and willingness to pass background verification
• Current DOT medical certification
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work reliably and manage time independently
• Prior experience in food distribution, logistics, or similar delivery operations preferred
