Join Sysco's SYGMA Columbus division as a full-time Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL A) delivery driver operating out of our New Rome facility in Franklin County. We're looking for reliable, safety-focused professionals to transport food products and supplies across the Columbus region, serving our diverse base of restaurants, hotels, and other food service establishments.

About the Role

As a CDL A Delivery Driver with SYGMA Columbus, you'll be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of commercial vehicles while delivering products to customer locations throughout the Columbus, Ohio area. This full-time position requires punctuality, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations with every stop.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate commercial trucks while following all Department of Transportation (DOT) and traffic regulations
• Navigate pre-planned delivery routes across the Columbus region and surrounding areas
• Load and unload freight safely, ensuring products reach customers in optimal condition
• Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain required logbooks
• Communicate professionally with restaurant and foodservice customers at each stop
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
• Adhere to company safety policies and best practices to protect yourself, your cargo, and the public

What We're Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL A) with a clean driving record
• Ability to work a consistent full-time schedule with flexibility as needed
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and maneuver freight throughout the delivery day
