About the Role

This CDL-A Company Driver position with U.S. Xpress - OTR puts you behind the wheel of dry van freight on long-haul, over-the-road routes. Drivers earn 54–60 CPM depending on experience, and solo drivers average roughly 2,000 miles each week. The top 20% of our over-the-road drivers bring home around $1,565 weekly, and you choose the home-time schedule that fits you best.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A dry van tractor-trailer safely on OTR routes from North Vidor, Texas
• Complete long-haul deliveries reliably while maintaining federal hours-of-service and safety standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and report issues promptly
• Maintain accurate logs and communicate consistently with dispatch

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license
• 1 to 5 months of verifiable driving experience
• Willingness to run over-the-road, dry van freight
• Commitment to safe, on-time delivery

Pay & Bonuses

• 54–60 CPM based on experience
• $2,000 sign-on bonus for solo drivers
• Top 20% of OTR drivers earn approximately $1,565 weekly
• Team drivers: $5,000 sign-on bonus (split), averaging 5,000 miles per week at $0.72–$0.80 CPM split starting pay
