About the Role
As a Catering Associate, you'll support our Food Service Department's mission to provide high-quality meals and catering services to patients, staff, and visitors. Working evening shifts, you'll be essential to maintaining food safety standards, quality presentation, and outstanding customer service in our clinical and administrative dining operations.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and plate food items according to recipes and plating standards
- Safely operate food service equipment and follow sanitation protocols
- Set up, service, and break down catering stations for events and daily service
- Monitor and maintain food inventory, reporting supply needs promptly
- Provide courteous, efficient service to patients, visitors, and team members
- Clean and organize food preparation and service areas to ensure food safety compliance
- Support special catering requests and event coordination as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain one
- Prior experience in food service or catering
- Ability to work evening hours and adapt to scheduling needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
