About the Role

We are currently seeking a Casual Sales Associate to join our team at Shiels Jewellers. As a member of our retail sales force, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within the store.

• Assist customers with selecting and purchasing jewellery items
• Provide product knowledge and answer queries about our extensive range of jewellery
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and attractive store environment
• Participate in team training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding customer service at all times
• Assisting customers with a wide range of jewellery items, including engagement rings, wedding bands, and fashion pieces
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
• Maintaining the store's appearance by restocking shelves and ensuring displays are presentable
• Participating in team meetings to discuss sales strategies and customer feedback

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A friendly and approachable personality with excellent communication skills
• Previous retail experience, particularly in a jewellery or luxury goods setting (not mandatory but advantageous)
• A good understanding of customer service principles
• The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• A valid driver's license as the role may require travel between stores for training purposes
