About the Role

Victoria University of Wellington is seeking a Capability Developer to join our Work-Integrated Learning team. This role involves designing and facilitating professional development that supports high-quality teaching and learning practices, with a focus on work-integrated learning, curriculum development, and student employability initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with academic departments to ensure alignment between teaching and learning strategies and employer expectations

  • Proven experience in work-integrated learning or related fields such as curriculum development and student employability initiatives

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders including academic staff, students, and industry partners
  • Ability to design and deliver professional development programs that are effective and impactful
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and build relationships with external partners
