Position Summary
Sistema.bio is a global social enterprise working with farmers to improve life on Earth. Founded in 2010 in Mexico, we provide innovative biodigester technology, training, and financing that enable farmers to convert organic waste into renewable energy and organic fertilizer. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Bengaluru, India.
Core Duties
- Develop and implement business development strategies for new markets and existing clients
- Identify potential partners and customers through market research and networking
- Negotiate and close deals with key stakeholders to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to business development activities
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or a related field
- Strong understanding of the agricultural sector, preferably with experience in renewable energy and organic waste management
- Proven track record of successful business development and revenue growth
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with market research tools and techniques
