The Opportunity
Join a mission worthy of a career in federal law enforcement. The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) offers the opportunity to serve your country and its citizens every day by protecting borders against illegal activity. This position includes New Hire Sign-On and Retention Incentives for GL-5/7 grade levels.
Responsibilities
- Enforce federal laws along U.S. borders, including preventing the illegal entry of individuals and contraband into the United States.
- Respond to calls for service and patrol designated areas on foot or in vehicles.
- Conduct searches, seizures, and interviews as required by law.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking dedicated individuals with a strong commitment to public service. Ideal candidates will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to pass a thorough background investigation and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
