Role Overview
You'll direct our Key Account Management function, balancing strategic ownership with hands-on involvement in critical client relationships. Lead from the front, driving both new customer wins and systematic portfolio growth in the commercial real estate and energy transition sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new strategic enterprise clients whilst systematising growth within our existing customer base through structured cross-selling and account expansion
- Actively manage our most valuable relationships yourself, winning major deals, and demonstrating successful B2B sales practice to your team daily
- Develop tailored solutions and value propositions for large, complex accounts alongside your team
- Build and strengthen relationships within the housing industry through association networks, sector events, and direct engagement with decision-makers to establish market credibility
- Define and continuously refine the Key Account Management strategy, grounded in market research, competitor analysis, and performance metrics
- Optimise the sales pipeline through structured processes and clear Key Performance Indicator tracking, ensuring transparent, data-driven operations
- Collaborate across product, marketing, and operations functions to align service capabilities with customer requirements and inform product development
- Lead the methodical expansion of the Key Account team whilst maintaining hands-on involvement in core sales activities
- Coach and develop team members with emphasis on accountability, measurable outcomes, and strong cross-functional collaboration
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in Key Account Management or B2B sales, ideally within property management, renewable energy, or sophisticated SaaS sectors
- Experience leading or mentoring a sales team through a growth phase, whether formal or informal
- Genuine enthusiasm for industry networks, events, and relationship-building with senior property and housing sector figures
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM systems, performance metrics, and data-driven process refinement
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach suited to a dynamic, fast-moving environment with rapid decision cycles
- Confident negotiation and communication skills, particularly with complex commercial and regulatory topics
- University qualification (business, engineering, or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience
- Native fluency in German; English proficiency is advantageous
