About the Role

This role sits within TD Bank’s Financial Crimes team, providing independent assurance that AML controls are effective and aligned with regulatory expectations. The manager leads audit engagements, partners with business stakeholders, and helps drive continuous improvement in the bank’s AML program.

What You'll Do

• Plan and execute audits of AML policies, procedures, and systems across various business lines.
• Assess compliance with BSA/AML regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.
• Identify control gaps, recommend remediation, and track resolution of audit findings.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings to senior management and audit committees.
• Stay current on emerging AML risks, typologies, and regulatory updates to inform audit scope.
• Mentor junior auditors and foster a culture of accountability and professional growth.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, criminal justice, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CIA, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in AML audit, compliance, or financial crimes investigation.
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, OFAC sanctions, and related regulatory guidance.
• Proven ability to conduct risk‑based audits, analyze complex data, and communicate results effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating across teams.
• Proficiency with audit management tools and data analytics applications.
