What You'll Do
- Direct complete audit engagements for government and nonprofit entities from initial scope through completion

- Manage audit budgets, staffing, and schedules to ensure project profitability and timely delivery
- Lead client discussions and partner with senior management on audit strategy and findings
- Ensure compliance with AICPA professional standards and government audit requirements including OMB Circular A-133
- Develop and maintain client relationships while identifying opportunities for service growth
- Prepare audit documentation and reports that meet regulatory and professional standards
What We're Looking For
- Valid CPA license (active in California or eligible for California licensure)
- 8+ years of progressive audit experience with demonstrated focus on government and nonprofit sectors
- Deep working knowledge of federal audit requirements, Single Audits, and nonprofit accounting frameworks
- Proven track record leading audit teams and managing client relationships
- Strong technical skills in audit software platforms and Microsoft Office applications
