About the Role
The Associate General Counsel will serve as a strategic legal advisor and key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) for a rapidly growing global SaaS organization headquartered in the United States. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is designed for a business-minded legal leader who can help guide company strategy and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Core Duties
- Provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters including contracts, intellectual property, and compliance issues.
- Support the CFO in managing risk and ensuring the organization's legal framework is robust and compliant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies that support business objectives.
- Represent the company in negotiations and litigation as needed.
What You Bring
- A J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in the United States.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate legal role, preferably with exposure to SaaS or technology companies.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex legal issues within a commercial context.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively advise senior leadership on legal matters.
