About the Role
The General Counsel’s Office is responsible for ensuring firm-wide compliance and legal integrity. As a New Business Intake & Conflicts Clearance Associate Attorney, you will be integral in managing new business opportunities, conducting thorough intake assessments, and providing critical conflicts clearance to support our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations for potential client matters to ensure alignment with firm policies and procedures.
- Perform detailed legal research to identify any existing conflicts of interest that may impact the representation of new clients.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of all intake assessments, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with partners and other attorneys to ensure timely resolution of intake inquiries and clearance processes.
What You Bring
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in the state of California or eligible for bar admission within one year.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in legal intake, conflicts clearance, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
