Associate Attorney (Trucking, Premises Liability, Products Liability)

Kelley Kronenberg is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our University Park, Dallas office and build a specialized practice in trucking, premises liability, and products liability litigation. This is a full-time position with a firm committed to sophisticated commercial defense work.

About the Role

As an Associate Attorney, you'll develop expertise across three interconnected practice areas that form the backbone of commercial liability defense. You'll work on cases involving trucking accidents, premises liability disputes, and products liability claims—matters that require both technical precision and strategic judgment. This role offers meaningful client interaction, meaningful case responsibility, and the opportunity to grow within a structured, supportive litigation environment.

What You'll Do

• Represent clients in trucking accident claims, including liability investigation, causation analysis, and defense preparation
• Manage premises liability matters protecting property owners, managers, and businesses against injury claims
• Handle products liability cases from initial intake through trial or settlement
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement correspondence
• Conduct legal research and prepare litigation strategy memoranda
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and trial proceedings
• Coordinate with adjusters, experts, and co-counsel on case development
• Build client relationships and identify business development opportunities

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active Texas bar license (or ability to obtain)
• Genuine interest in commercial liability defense and litigation practice
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Professional communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Initiative, attention to detail, and commitment to client service
• Collaborative approach to teamwork and case management
