What This Role Involves
The Assistant Swimming & Diving Coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will be responsible for coaching and mentoring student-athletes in swimming and diving. The position involves developing training programs, ensuring safety standards are met, and fostering a positive team environment. Additionally, the coach will assist with recruitment efforts, academic advising, and community outreach.

- Develop and implement training programs for swimming and diving teams
- Mentor student-athletes to enhance their athletic performance and personal development
- Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
- Contribute to the overall success of the athletics program by promoting a positive team culture
- Assist in recruitment efforts for prospective student-athletes
- Provide academic support and guidance to ensure student-athletes meet academic requirements
- Participate in community outreach programs and events as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- NCAA Level 1 coaching certification or willingness to obtain within one year of hire
- Minimum of two years of collegiate swimming and diving coaching experience
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with student-athletes, faculty, staff, and the broader campus community
