What This Role Involves

The role of a Coach-Assistant High School Competitive Cheer at Wellington Middle/High School within the Poudre School District involves supporting and enhancing the competitive cheerleading program. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Ensure all athletes are following safety protocols during practices and performances
• Participate in meetings and planning sessions for the competitive season

What We're Looking For

• A proven track record of success in cheerleading or a related sport
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with athletes, staff, and parents
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor young athletes
• A strong understanding of competitive cheerleading rules and regulations
• Experience in coaching or assistant coaching at a high school level is preferred

Working at Poudre School District

Poudre School District offers a full-time, non-remote position with a competitive salary based on the Athletic Coaching Stipend Schedule. The pay range for external coaches is between $290 and $7,032 per season, while internal coaches can earn up to $8,143 per season (based on paid years of experience up to 5 years).
