Allied / Tech – Ultrasound Tech

Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital in Memphis, DeSoto County is seeking an experienced Pediatric Ultrasound Tech to join its Radiology and Cardiology team on a full-time, night-shift basis. This Allied / Tech - Ultrasound Tech opportunity is ideal for a sonographer who is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality imaging care to children.

About the Role

As an Ultrasound Tech at Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital, you will perform diagnostic sonographic examinations on pediatric patients across the Radiology and Cardiology departments. This is an on-site position based in Memphis, DeSoto County, operating on a night schedule of three 12-hour shifts (typically 17:00 to 05:30), with the possibility that hours may be adjusted to meet unit requirements following the interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric ultrasound studies for Radiology and Cardiology with accuracy and care
• Prepare young patients and their families for procedures, ensuring comfort throughout each exam
• Capture and document clear diagnostic images for interpretation by the care team
• Maintain imaging equipment and uphold safety, quality, and infection-control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists during night-shift coverage

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of professional ultrasound technologist experience
• Hands-on pediatric ultrasound experience is required
• Candidates new to travel or contract assignments may be considered only with at least three years of experience
• Availability to work the assigned night-shift schedule (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings into early morning)
• Strong patient-care skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
