About This Position

Sampson Middle School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for mathematics and excel in their studies.

Core Duties

• Instruct and motivate students in the principles of mathematics
• Create lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that align with state standards
• Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, and projects
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents/guardians as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive learning environment for students

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field that qualifies for licensure by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
• Demonstrated passion and dedication towards teaching mathematics
• Ability to inspire and engage students in learning
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
