After School Coach – Pickleball

TGA Premier Sports seeks an enthusiastic Part-Time Pickleball Coach to lead engaging, skill-building sessions for elementary-age students at our after-school programming in Fort Ross, Sonoma County. This is your opportunity to inspire young athletes, build foundational racquet skills, and help children discover the joy of competitive play in a supportive environment.

About the Role

As a Pickleball Coach with TGA Premier Sports, you'll deliver dynamic after-school instruction to small groups of children in grades K–6. Your mission is to introduce the fundamentals of pickleball—court positioning, stroke mechanics, strategy, and sportsmanship—through activities that emphasize fun, inclusion, and progressive skill development. You'll foster a welcoming atmosphere where every student feels confident to participate and grow.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate pickleball lessons that build technique, fitness, and confidence
• Demonstrate proper grip, footwork, serving, and net play fundamentals
• Manage small groups with clear instruction, positive reinforcement, and safety protocols
• Organize drills, games, and activities that engage learners at different skill levels
• Track student progress and communicate updates to program coordinators
• Maintain court equipment and ensure a safe, organized learning environment

What You Bring

• Proven experience coaching youth sports or teaching children (age 5–12)
• Solid knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and court strategy
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with elementary-age students
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt lessons to varied abilities
• Reliability, responsibility, and a commitment to student safety and well-being
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it
