Adventure Ted Creative Board Intern Creative Internship (Graphic Design, Apparel, Animation)

Join Childhood Cancer Society as a Creative Intern in Parkersburg, Wood County. In this full-time position, you'll develop your skills in graphic design, apparel design, and animation while creating meaningful visual content that supports families facing pediatric cancer.

About the Role

As a Creative Intern at Childhood Cancer Society, you'll work alongside our creative team to bring our mission to life through design, animation, and brand storytelling. You'll apply your talents across multiple creative disciplines—from graphic design to apparel concepts to motion graphics—while contributing to campaigns and communications that inspire hope and raise awareness.

What You'll Do

• Design graphics and visual assets for digital platforms, marketing collateral, and donor communications
• Develop apparel design concepts that reflect the Childhood Cancer Society brand and values
• Create animated content, motion graphics, and video assets for social media and web channels
• Produce design mockups and visual concepts for creative campaigns and initiatives
• Collaborate with the creative team on brand projects featuring Adventure Ted, our superhero character
• Assist with asset management, file organization, and production support
• Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions and participate in the full creative process

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design software
• Portfolio demonstrating graphic design, apparel design, or animation work
• Experience with or strong interest in animation and motion graphics
• Understanding of brand consistency and visual communication principles
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented approach to creative projects and tight deadlines
• Genuine interest in supporting children with cancer and nonprofit mission work
