Project Manager (MBA Internship / Fellowship)

About the Role

You'll manage end-to-end projects spanning fundraising, operations, partnerships, and event programming. This internship or fellowship teaches how nonprofit organizations coordinate complex cross-functional work, build stakeholder relationships, and translate strategy into measurable results—all while contributing to an organization working to transform the lives of children and families facing cancer.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects that integrate fundraising efforts, operational processes, strategic partnerships, and community events
• Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestone tracking across multiple initiatives
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams across different functional areas and stakeholders
• Support planning, logistics, and delivery of events that engage supporters and advance organizational mission
• Monitor project performance, identify and resolve obstacles, and provide leadership with progress updates and outcomes
• Apply project management principles to help optimize how the organization executes its most critical work

What We're Looking For

• Current or recent MBA student or graduate business student with interest in nonprofit management
• Strong project management capability demonstrated through coursework, prior internships, or professional work
• Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to collaborate across teams
• Genuine passion for nonprofit work and commitment to supporting children and families affected by cancer
• Flexibility to structure your availability around your academic calendar and personal schedule
