What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop individualized patient treatment plans
- Manage mechanical ventilation, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of ventilators and associated equipment
- Administer aerosol medications and therapeutic gases following clinical protocols
- Conduct and interpret cardiopulmonary function testing and blood gas analysis
- Monitor patient response to therapy and communicate findings with the healthcare team
- Maintain detailed, accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory conditions and treatment options
- Ensure equipment safety and infection control standards are consistently met
What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC or equivalent certification
- Advanced credentials or certifications in specialty areas such as ACCS, RPFT, or NPS preferred
- Active state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist where required
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in advanced respiratory care practices
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills with ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based clinical practice
- Ability to work flexibly within a part-time weekend schedule
