Connections Academy is hiring an Adjunct English Teacher (TX, MI and PA) for our Teaching Services team — a full-time, US-based opportunity to shape how students experience language, literature, and writing.

About the Role

As an Adjunct English Teacher with Connections Academy, you will support learners across Texas, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, helping them build confidence in reading comprehension, written expression, and critical analysis. This is a full-time position within our Teaching Services group, designed for educators who want to make a measurable difference in students' academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English instruction aligned with curriculum standards in TX, MI, and PA.
• Guide students through reading, writing, grammar, and literary analysis at an appropriate pace.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and performance.
• Communicate regularly with students and families to encourage participation and success.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and the Teaching Services team to refine instructional practices.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching credentials appropriate for English instruction in the applicable states (TX, MI, PA).
• Background in English, education, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and support a diverse range of learners.
• Comfort working with digital learning tools and platforms.
• Commitment to student outcomes and continuous improvement.
