About the Role

As an Accounts Receivable Collector at Wilson Elser in White Plains, you will play a central part in keeping the firm's revenue cycle healthy. Working on-site in Westchester County, you'll manage outstanding balances, communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders, and help ensure that invoices are resolved accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on aged accounts receivable to secure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
• Reach out to clients and billing contacts to address overdue balances and resolve payment questions.
• Research and reconcile billing discrepancies, partnering with attorneys and billing teams as needed.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of collection activity and account status.
• Escalate complex or high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate next steps.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related financial role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, diplomatic approach.
• Comfort working with billing systems, spreadsheets, and reconciliation tasks.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Availability to work full-time, on-site at our White Plains office.
