About the Role
As an Accountant with Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, you will deliver hands-on accounting and financial support to nonprofit clients throughout Washington, D.C. and the surrounding region. This is a hybrid position based in the D.C. metro market, blending on-site client work with flexible scheduling. Our footprint spans Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia (including Arlington, Alexandria, and nearby counties), suburban Maryland (Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Silver Spring, and adjacent counties), as well as the Greater Baltimore region of Maryland and the Greater Richmond region of Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping services tailored to the needs of nonprofit clients.
- Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting for the organizations you support.
- Collaborate with client teams on-site and remotely within the Greater Washington, D.C. area.
- Help nonprofit leaders interpret their financial data to make informed, mission-driven decisions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in accounting, with familiarity in nonprofit financial practices preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
