About This Position
We're looking for a skilled Electro/Mechanical Technician II to support our production operations in Cottage Grove, Washington County. In this role, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair both electrical and mechanical systems that keep our facility running efficiently. This is a hands-on position where your technical expertise directly impacts our manufacturing output and product quality.
Core Duties
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical equipment on the production floor
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and systems
- Install, test, and calibrate equipment and components
- Troubleshoot system failures and implement timely solutions
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematic diagrams
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues
- Document maintenance work and equipment status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
What You Bring
- 2+ years of electro-mechanical technician or related technical experience
- Proficiency with electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical components
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work 1st shift and adapt to operational needs
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent technical training
