About the Role
The US Open attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year for three weeks of elite tennis competition. As a Signage and Graphics Applicator, you'll be instrumental in creating the visual environment that defines the tournament experience. This seasonal role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to the event's success.
What You'll Do
- Install, apply, and position signage and graphics throughout the National Tennis Center venue
- Measure, align, and secure signage installations according to specifications and site requirements
- Apply vinyl graphics, banners, and promotional materials to walls, structures, and temporary installations
- Ensure all installations meet quality standards and aesthetic requirements
- Remove and replace signage as needed during the event schedule
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Work collaboratively with venue management and event teams
- Maintain organized work areas and proper material handling
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and work at various heights
- Strong attention to detail and alignment accuracy
- Ability to follow technical specifications and instructions
- Experience with signage installation, graphics application, or related installation work is preferred
- Comfort working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
