About the Role
As a Graduate Assistant for Strength and Conditioning within Cameron University Athletics, you will support the day-to-day operations of the strength and conditioning program in Lawton, Oklahoma. This full-time, on-campus position pairs practical assistant coaching duties with mentorship, giving you direct exposure to collegiate athletic performance and the structure of NCAA competition.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching and supervising student-athletes across a range of Cameron University NCAA programs.
- Help design, lead, and monitor strength and conditioning sessions under staff direction.
- Support the safe operation of training facilities and proper use of equipment.
- Apply and reinforce NCAA rules and regulations in daily program activities.
- Contribute to athlete development, performance tracking, and team readiness.
Qualifications
- Enrollment, or eligibility for enrollment, in a graduate program at Cameron University.
- Genuine interest in strength and conditioning coaching at the collegiate level.
- Willingness to learn and uphold NCAA compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an athletics staff.
- Availability to begin in Spring 2026 and commit to a full-time on-site schedule.
