About the Role
We are seeking a Code-based Automation Engineer to join our team at Pearl Talent. Our mission is to find exceptional talent, train them in AI-native skills, and place them into operational roles as managed contractors across various sectors including tech and healthcare. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for moving business-critical workflows off no-code platforms onto a code-first foundation, ensuring version-controlled services, durable orchestration, real observability, and robust recovery paths.
Your Responsibilities
- Transform existing automations from no-code to code-based solutions
- Develop version-controlled services that can be tested, monitored, and safely operated by an engineering team
- Create durable orchestration workflows with real observability features
- Implement recovery paths that do not rely on manual intervention
- Ensure all business-critical processes are robust and scalable
Qualifications
- Strong experience in developing code-based automation solutions
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of orchestration tools like n8n, Zapier, or similar platforms
- Experience in implementing observability and monitoring practices
- Ambition to scale a business through innovative automation strategies

Pearl Talent is a 3x-founded company that has grown from bootstrapping to achieving several million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). We are adding six to seven figures in net new annualized revenue every month. Our clients include venture-backed tech and healthcare startups, as well as top US-based businesses with over $3B in funding from firms like Sequoia, a16z, Founders Fund, Y Combinator, and more. With a team of around 50 people managing hundreds of talents, we are expanding into new verticals and aiming to scale our ARR to $100M by placing 2777 operators in top startups over the next three years.
