About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lift Service Engineer to join our team and cover routes across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that lifts operate safely and efficiently.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on lift systems
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth operation
• Carry out safety checks and report any potential hazards or malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and parts used
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Support team members as needed on various projects

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in lift maintenance or related field
• Thorough understanding of lift systems and their components
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Able to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and colleagues
• Valid driving license as travel is required within the designated area
• Desirable: NVQ in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification

Our full-time position offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000 (including OTE) based on your skills and experience level. Working hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM, with an early finish on Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM.
