What This Role Involves
The Principal TEM Automation Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced automation solutions using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) technology. This role requires a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, as well as expertise in designing, testing, and optimizing automated systems to enhance productivity and quality in the production line.
Core Duties
- Lead the development and integration of automation solutions for TEM-based inspection and analysis in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure seamless product integration and process optimization.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation to support system design, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of automation systems to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in TEM-based semiconductor manufacturing processes or related industries.
- Proven track record in leading the development and implementation of automated systems in high-tech environments.
- Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with an emphasis on automation technologies.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB for automation system design.
- Familiarity with SEM/TEM systems and their integration into automated workflows is highly desirable.
