What This Role Involves
The primary purpose of this position is to provide basic mechanical, repair, maintenance, and other related services to the customers. You will be responsible for performing routine and complex truck and trailer repairs, as well as completing routine maintenance tasks. Additionally, you must understand shop techniques and practices, parts, materials, and the operation, use, and basic repair of equipment in the shop.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform assigned duties and tasks to meet Company standards and customer satisfaction
- Receive work instructions for specific assignments from a lead mechanic or technician when necessary
- Contribute to the profitability of the Company by working efficiently, conserving time, parts, and materials, avoiding unnecessary tool breakage, and preventing rework
