About This Position

Penske is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Columbus, Nebraska. As a full-time employee, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the newest and best-maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry. You'll contribute to ensuring customer satisfaction by keeping their vehicles in top condition.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine and advanced vehicle maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Work with a team to ensure high standards of vehicle performance
• Document all service activities accurately in the company's system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
• Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements
• Experience as a Diesel Technician, preferably in a commercial setting
• Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
