Lake Forest Recruiting Firm is hiring a Physician Psychiatry professional in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, NC — an onsite, adult psychiatry opportunity supporting intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization care with a competitive salary and flexible weekly hours.

About the Role

Our Charlotte-based group is searching for an experienced Adult Psychiatrist to join its behavioral health team. This position centers on Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) treatment for patients aged 18 and older. The role is structured around 24 hours per week with flexible scheduling, and all work is performed onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina. Compensation reaches up to $225,000 based on experience, even at the 24-hour weekly commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment to adult patients enrolled in IOP and PHP services
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans for individuals ages 18 and up
• Prescribe and manage medication while monitoring patient progress and response
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary behavioral health team to coordinate quality outpatient care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation consistent with program standards

Qualifications

• Licensed physician qualified to practice psychiatry in North Carolina (or eligible for licensure)
• Training and clinical background in adult psychiatry
• Experience treating adults in intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) settings preferred
• Ability to commit to 24 hours per week of onsite work in Charlotte with flexible scheduling
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within a team-based care environment
