The Opportunity
Soar Autism Center is expanding its network of interdisciplinary clinics in the Maryland region. We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions for children with autism. This role will be based in downtown Silver Spring, offering a collaborative environment where early team members can play a defining role.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the unique needs of each child and family.
- Create individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that are evidence-based and tailored to each client’s specific requirements.
- Provide direct therapy sessions, coaching, and support to children with autism and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, educators, and family members to ensure cohesive care.
- Document progress and outcomes in a timely manner for evaluation and reporting purposes.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field is required, along with active BCBA certification from the BACB. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
