Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Maynard Public Schools - Maynard, Massachusetts
Position Summary
Maynard Public Schools is seeking a collaborative, student-centered Board Certified Behavior Analyst to support students with behavioral, social-emotional, developmental, and autism-related needs across the district. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to partner with educators, related service providers, administrators, families, and outside agencies to develop and implement evidence-based programs that enhance educational outcomes for all students.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of student needs
- Create individualized behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
- Train staff on the implementation of BIPs and other evidence-based practices
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, administrators, families, and outside agencies to ensure consistency in support strategies
- Attend meetings and provide input on student progress and program development
What You Bring
- A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., special education, psychology)
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Experience working with students with behavioral, social-emotional, developmental, and autism-related needs
- A passion for evidence-based practices and a commitment to student success
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
