Instructor, Accounting, Finance, & Comp Office Tech - Tenure Track - Spring 2027 — College of Southern Nevada — Charleston, South Carolina

The Opportunity

The College of Southern Nevada invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Instructor position in the Accounting, Finance, and Computer Office Technology departments. This role will begin in Spring 2027.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Instruct students in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Office Technology courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Create and maintain course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and assignments.
• Evaluate student performance through quizzes, exams, and other assessments.
• Provide academic advising to students and assist with their career development.
• Participate in departmental meetings and committee work as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Office Technology from an accredited institution is required. A doctoral degree is preferred.
• Licensed CPA, CFA, or CFM certification is highly desirable for candidates with an accounting background.
• Experience teaching at the college level is preferred but not required.
• A commitment to student success and a passion for education are essential.
