About This Position

The Coordinator, Community Engagement plays a pivotal role in fostering community partnerships and enhancing public engagement efforts. Reporting to the Director of Community Partnerships, this full-time position is essential for driving initiatives that promote community safety and racial justice.

Core Duties

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage diverse community stakeholders
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with community leaders, court officials, and other relevant parties
  • Collaborate with team members to design and execute programs that support community safety and justice initiatives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of engagement efforts and provide feedback for improvement

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in community engagement or social justice work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in program development and implementation within the context of community engagement
  • A commitment to racial justice and a passion for working with communities impacted by the justice system
