We are currently seeking a Travel Sterile Processing Technician for a full-time position in Lewiston, ME. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the healthcare community. The role will involve working evenings from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, five days a week, with a contract duration of nine weeks starting on September 8, 2026.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform sterilization and processing of medical equipment and instruments
- Follow strict protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility
- Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Handle and transport items safely, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Maintain accurate records and logs for sterilization processes
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or similar role is preferred but not required
- A strong understanding of sterile processing procedures and protocols
- Precision and attention to detail in handling medical equipment
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment
