The Opportunity

BOLEY CENTER is seeking a full-time Vice President of Housing Development to lead our efforts in providing affordable housing solutions for individuals and families who are homeless, Veterans, and youth in Pinellas County. Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to serving those with mental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Led by the Vice President of Housing Development, responsibilities include overseeing the development and management of affordable housing projects that align with our mission and community needs.
• Collaborate closely with local government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private sector partners to secure funding and resources for housing initiatives.
• Develop strategic plans and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and successful implementation of housing programs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to affordable housing development.
• Oversee the selection and management of contractors, developers, and other stakeholders involved in housing projects.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in affordable housing development or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale housing development projects with a proven track record of delivering results within budget and on schedule.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build partnerships, and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with affordable housing policies, funding sources, and regulatory requirements in Pinellas County.
