Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Produce timely management accounts, including variance analysis against budget and forecast figures.
• Lead month-end close activities and ensure reports meet internal deadlines and quality standards.
• Build and maintain rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and supporting schedules in collaboration with the wider finance team.
• Track and report key performance indicators so leadership can act on reliable numbers.
• Examine cost structures and revenue trends, highlighting opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.
• Present clear commentary and insights to non-finance stakeholders so they can make informed decisions.
• Maintain robust process controls and documentation for management reporting cycles.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and project work that strengthens financial visibility across the business.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a closely related management accounting role.
• A recognised professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA (or significant progress toward one).
• Strong technical skills in preparing management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Advanced spreadsheet proficiency and the ability to turn large datasets into concise, actionable insights.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to explaining finance topics to a range of audiences.
• A meticulous, organised approach with the ability to meet tight month-end and reporting deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset that anticipates what decision-makers need next.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to work from the London, Greater London location on a full-time basis.
