About the Role

As a Delivery Specialist, you'll be the face of Oreillyauto when you arrive at customer locations throughout the Houston area. You'll handle the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts, ensure proper documentation, and provide excellent service at every stop. Your role combines logistics, vehicle operation, and genuine customer interaction to meet our high standards of reliability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts to customer locations across the Houston region on assigned routes
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Verify order accuracy and complete delivery documentation before leaving each location
• Operate and maintain the delivery vehicle in compliance with safety standards
• Provide professional customer service and answer inquiries about deliveries
• Meet delivery schedules and manage multiple stops effectively
• Report any issues, discrepancies, or vehicle concerns to management immediately
• Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic regulations

Who We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift and carry automotive parts weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Reliable availability for full-time work schedules
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to navigate independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with automotive parts or delivery operations is helpful but not required
