Oreillyauto is hiring a Retail Service Specialist for our Store 02924 location in Spokane, WA. This is a full-time role where you'll combine customer service expertise with automotive knowledge to help DIY enthusiasts, professional mechanics, and businesses find exactly what they need.

About the Role

As a Retail Service Specialist at Oreillyauto, you'll be the backbone of daily store operations at our Spokane location. You'll work full-time on the sales floor and behind the counter, delivering personalized service to customers navigating everything from routine maintenance to complex repair projects. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with regulars, learn the automotive industry, and develop skills in a fast-paced retail environment that values product expertise and customer care.

What You'll Do

• Assist customers in identifying the right parts and products for their vehicles and projects
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at checkout
• Build product knowledge across our inventory to answer technical questions and make recommendations
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and problem-solve when issues arise
• Support team members during peak hours and collaborate on store operations
• Follow company procedures for inventory management and loss prevention

Qualifications

• Prior retail or customer service experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with customers from all backgrounds
• Comfortable with point-of-sale systems and learning new technology
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and stock items up to 50 pounds regularly
• Reliability and the ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn about automotive products and industry fundamentals
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
