About This Position

Nwis is seeking an experienced SIGINT Operator at the P4 level to join our Sterling, Virginia facility. In this mid-level role, you'll take on expanded responsibilities for planning, executing, and evaluating signals intelligence operations. You'll work with specialized collection systems to gather and analyze intelligence that supports organizational priorities, collaborating with intelligence professionals across multiple disciplines to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct signals intelligence collection and analysis using advanced equipment and software platforms
• Identify, monitor, and assess communications and electronic signals relevant to operational objectives
• Prepare detailed intelligence reports, briefings, and operational assessments for leadership
• Maintain comprehensive operational logs and document all collection activities per established protocols
• Collaborate with intelligence analysts, operators, and technical teams to support mission requirements
• Train and mentor junior operators on equipment, procedures, and best practices
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize collection system performance
• Ensure strict compliance with security regulations and operational security standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Active security clearance at the Secret level or higher (Top Secret preferred)
• Proven experience as a SIGINT operator or in a related signals intelligence role
• Technical proficiency with signals intelligence collection systems and analytical platforms
• Working knowledge of communications systems, radio frequency theory, and signal processing
• Ability to work variable schedules including shifts, evenings, and on-call duty as needed
• Exceptional attention to detail and capacity for high-volume data processing
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in team settings
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
