Position Summary

As an HR Generalist at Medline, you'll serve as a trusted HR partner across the organization, supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through development and separation. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on employee experiences and contribute to Medline's mission of improving healthcare outcomes across Houston and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding for multiple departments
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
• Handle employee relations inquiries, performance management support, and disciplinary matters with confidentiality and fairness
• Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Support employee development through training coordination, career pathing guidance, and performance review administration
• Assist with payroll processes, leave administration, and policy interpretation for Houston-based staff
• Partner with department managers on workforce planning, retention strategies, and organizational changes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional HR experience
• 2+ years of HR generalist experience in a multi-department or corporate environment
• Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid understanding of employment law, payroll concepts, and benefits administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work confidentially with all levels of staff
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail in managing competing priorities
• SHRM-CP or similar HR certification is a plus
